Here is an updated version of the previous mustang I released. The main thing fixed was the weight problem. I also did read the comments from the last version and decided to swap out the flathead for a 427 cobra jet engine. Alongside with a modified 302 for the other engine.

Thank you for this mod. I always loved the 1960’s Shelby GT500 cars. The Shelby GT500KR version had a 428 Cobra Jet engine that produced 740 pounds of torque at the wheels at close to 500 horsepower, thus the “KR” stood for “King of the Road.” The 428 Cobra Jet engine came out in 1968. The 427 race engine was used in Shelby Cobra race cars and one of these engines was retrofitted to Steve McQueen’s 1968 Ford Mustang GT that was used in the movie Bullet, but this car had a lot of handling problems, due to the weight of the 427 big block engine. Every time this Bullet car bottomed out and scraped the road, it would rip a hole in the engine’s oil pan. My brother had a 1967 fastback Mustang that had a 428 engine, but this engine was not a Cobra Jet engine. Even it could easily do 130 mph! I know this because we had his car up that fast. It was a great car. Thanks again for this mod.
